The design team focused on reducing weight while maintaining the comfort and protection achieved in the previous model. The result is a harness approximately 450 grams lighter than the DELIGHT 4—nearly a 10% reduction—without compromising durability or support quality.
The DELIGHT series is built around a distinctive structure designed to prioritise stability. The seat plate provides clear feedback and solid support, allowing the pilot to remain focused on their trajectory without distraction from unwanted movement.
The harness acts as a filter between the pilot and the wing, smoothing feedback to create a more relaxed flying experience—particularly with modern, highly responsive gliders.
The DELIGHT 5’s enveloping cocoon is engineered to deliver precise, long-lasting support. Its seating position keeps the pilot securely in place, enhancing the sense of safety while reducing fatigue on extended flights.
This ergonomic design makes it well suited to both pilots flying high-performance wings and those transitioning into their first cross-country cocoon harness.
The DELIGHT 5 offers a high level of safety within its category. A full-length PLASTAZOTE© back protector shields the pilot from the neck to the lower thighs, using high-performance structural foam that is effective immediately upon impact, regardless of angle.
The inherent stability of the structure also makes it easier to manage the wing when conditions become more demanding.
This fifth generation introduces further refinements in detail and ergonomics. Enhancements include a magnetic cockpit, speedbag, optimised reserve container, improved accessory integration, and more refined finishing throughout.
